Laurie loves the Pacific Northwest because she is surrounded by the beauty of the colors found in nature, which she often uses as inspiration for her designs. She is a former professional symphony violinist where she acquired a sense of elegance and rhythm, skills that have been very useful in her creative endeavors in the quilting space. She loves to teach, share, and inspire and has even taught classes here at Gossypium.
